City of Belvidere
Street Department Operator/Laborer
Applications will be received until 5:00 PM on Friday, April 25, 2025 for a full time Street Department Operator/Laborer.
Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate; Must have a Class “A” CDL or ability to attain within six months of hire; Must have extensive knowledge of methods, practices and techniques involved in the maintenance of municipal street and storm sewer system. Must have the ability to operate various machinery and equipment associated with street and storm sewer maintenance and operations. Must have the ability to read and understand various plans related to street and storm sewer maintenance and operations. Starting salary is $27.73 per hour.
